[Antique print, etching/ets] Prins Maurits opgenomen als ridder in de Engelse Orde van de Kousenband; Prince Maurice of Orange appointed to the Order of the Garter, 1613, published between 1613 and 1651.

The investiture of Maurice with the Order of the Garter on the 4th of February 1613. In the main hall of the Binnenhof in The Hague, a herald puts the garter on Maurits in the presence of the English ambassador, Johan van Oldenbarnevelt, the members of the States General and many other guests.
