A disabled man on crutches is begging for money with a hat. Inscription in Dutch at the bottom: ‘Twee Krukken met een stelt zyn goed… Als ik myn Voordeel wil bejaagen’. Signed under the picture: ‘P. Barbiers inv. et del. / P. Langendijk sculp.’ From a set of various similar compositions.

Engraving on paper, printed in red ink, trimmed within plate mark, total: 121 x 91 mm; traces of previous mounting on verso, otherwise in very good condition.
